The project connects local families in need with generous community members who “adopt” a child’s Christmas wish — purchasing a gift from that child’s personal wish list to make their holiday special.

How does the process work?

It’s simple!

  1. Families register their children’s wishlists during the registration period.
  2. Community members choose a wish (or several) to “adopt.”
  3. Gifts are purchased, wrapped, and returned to the collection point by the due date.
  4. Our volunteer team discreetly delivers the gifts to families before Christmas.
Is everything kept confidential?

Absolutely. The privacy and dignity of all participants is our top priority. Gift-givers never know who they’re buying for, and recipient families never know who adopted their wish. The entire process is handled by trusted coordinators to ensure confidentiality and respect for everyone involved.

What kinds of gifts can be requested?

Families can list up to a few thoughtful and realistic items per child — things that bring joy or make life a little easier. This might include toys, clothing, art supplies, sports gear, or small personal items. We ask that wishes stay within a reasonable price range of $30.00 or less.

How can I adopt a wish?

Once wishlists are available, you can browse and choose one (or more!) to adopt either online or in person at our local collection point. Simply follow the instructions to purchase and drop off your gift by the due date. Every contribution makes a difference!
